Here’s what you do: – Add the can of your Coopers concentrate to the fermentation bucket. – You will have 2L boiling from the previous video. – Fill up your empty can with the hot water and drain the contents into the fermentation bucket. – Add the remaining water. – Add the dry malt extract slowely and stir quickly. – Add the dextrose/corn sugar. Do not use other types of sugar. Once everything is mixed in, we will then take the fermentation bucket upstairs into the bathtub where we can quickly fill it up with cool water. Since there is already hot water in the bucket, the mixture of both cool and hot will creat a warm water which is what the yeat loves to have so it can activate and eat the sugar. Yeast is living. It grows. It doesn’t do much until

It grows. It doesn’t do much until it encounters sugar. However, like people, yeast works best in certain condiditions. If it’s too hot, we work slowely and sweat too much. If it’s too cold we are bothered by the cold so cannot work fast. The yeast likes to be at a certain temperature range to eat up all that sugar. The yeast also needs to be fresh. It will die slowely over time by itself. The fresher the yeast the better. In the homebrew world a lot of
